On Unity and the Power of Community
October’s theme at the Sattva Wisdom Center is “unity.” Now, more than ever, I think we need community and connection. When we unite, our power is multiplied.
When things around us seem uncertain and challenging, we rely on each other to keep moving forward with a positive and hopeful attitude.
Whether it is in meditation, discussion, yoga, or learning--the energy of the group is one we all can feel and benefit from (via Zoom for now!).
We are lucky to have technology that allows us to get together in a safe way. I feel blessed that the circumstances of the pandemic spurred SWC to reach beyond the four walls of its original site. I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know and interact with the wonderful people who have joined us at SWC, students and faculty members alike.
At SWC, we are committed to bringing you all sorts of opportunities to get grounded and inspired, expand your knowledge with our expert and wise teachers, and feel like you are being heard and seen.
Meditation is a fundamental part of our mission. We are very excited to host a meditation teacher training at SWC for the first time, led by the wonderful Leah Kinsella. In its 6th year, the training incorporates techniques that Leah learned from her teacher, Rod Stryker. This four-week course is for anyone who is planning to teach meditation, wants to use guided meditation in their work with clients or would like to deepen their own practice.
There are many great events coming up for the rest of the year and we are busy planning for 2021. SWC also has a variety of packages and an annual PHD membership that provide you with exceptional value and special perks.
Take a look through our website at sattvawisdomcenter.com to find out more about everything going on at SWC.
We can’t wait to welcome you!
With love and light,
Denise
