Join Heather Berg for a Yoga Nidra practice. Also known as Enlightened Sleep or Awareness of Waking, Dreaming, Sleeping, Yoga Nidra is the highest form of self-care. This modality is different than meditation and more in line with Savasana: deep relaxation, healing for the nervous system and a process of letting go to remember the unchanging part of you. All the while, the body and mind are at deep sleep yet simultaneously being aware of the surroundings. This exploration will start with gentle movement and breath-work culminating with a guided Yoga Nidra practice. No (physical) Yoga or meditation experience required. You will need a yoga mat, a small pillow for under your head, a blanket to cover yourself, a small cloth to cover your eyes and bolsters/props to support yourself in a comfortable Savasana/corpse pose. Suitable for all levels.
Pre-registration is required. You will receive a Zoom link at the time you register. If you don’t receive it, please contact us at least 30 minutes prior to the class start time via TEXT at 561-654-6847. The Zoom meeting room will open approximately 30 minutes before the class starts. Please join at least 15 minutes early to make sure we can address any questions you may have about Zoom and to give you time to settle in.
