About the Event

With Ellen Patrick

Divine Alchemy is a 3-week interactive, transformational journey combining basic Yoga poses and philosophy with Mindfulness Meditation.

It’s no secret that our world and lives have changed forever!

Suffering, which includes stress and anxiety, comes from resistance to that change.

Divine Alchemy is designed to support you through the “letting go” of what was and the “acceptance” of what is.

You will receive “homework” between sessions in the form of meditations and reflections.

You will also get access to a private Facebook group for connection, communication and support.

Whether you want new tools to use in your personal life or additional skills for teaching yoga or providing therapeutic/holistic services, this course will bring you insight, inspiration and enlightenment.

Yoga Teachers will receive 4.5 CEU credits that may be submitted to Yoga Alliance.

What Will I Learn?

Ellen Patrick, a certified yoga therapist and mindfulness teacher, will lead this alchemical process.

She will prepare you to co-create a “new world paradigm” that, in the words of Intuitive Healer and author, Caroline Myss, is a “biospiritualecological theology”!

Each session will include:

•Introduction/discussion of the topic

•An embodied experience of the topic through basic asana

•Journaling and sharing

•Meditation

October 10th: Focus on the yogic concept of Svadhyaya, or self-study. You will come to know yourself better with a more compassionate heart. This more loving heart-space allows for the healthy expression of grief to move through you as you let go of “what was.” The freedom to accept the current world situation with strength and grace will now be accessible to you.

October 17th: Tapas is a practice of creating the passion and motivation to transform your relationship to the present moment and influence your attitude, health, relationships, community and environment. You will become the warrior the world needs now to partner in the reshaping of humanity and its relationship to all beings and our environment.

October 24th: Ishvara Pranidhana is an acknowledgement of our inability to control our external world while, simultaneously influencing it to shape and co-create a healthy self, society, economy and ecological structure that honors and supports all beings. While all directions and answers may remain uncertain, you will come to trust in your inner, divine guidance to move you forward with courage and confidence.

Pre-registration is required. You will receive a Zoom link at the time you register. If you don’t receive it, please contact us at least 30 minutes prior to the class start time via TEXT at 561-654-6847. The Zoom meeting room will open approximately 30 minutes before the class starts. Please join at least 15 minutes early to make sure we can address any questions you may have about Zoom and to give you time to settle in.
